A New Champion Will be Crowned

It has been a wonderful World Cup filled with excitement, upsets and classic match ups. Germany vs. England, Holland vs. Brazil, Spain vs. Germany, Argentina vs. Everyone barring the German match of course...

There were a great number of classic battles and strangely enough the Messi's, Ronaldo's, Rooney's and Torres's of this tournament did not bring all that they were touted to bring. Torres still has a chance to shine, let's see if he does so on Sunday.

The Game on Sunday is so important to me that I chose to delay a trip with my wife a full day because of it. I want to see the final game and enjoy Montreal one last time before leaving for vacation. (Never thought I'd see that day, HONESTLY).

I just feel I need to see those cars honking and driving up and down St.Catherine Street one more time. What will Montreal be transformed into on Sunday afternoon, a Sea of Spanish Red, or Dazzlingly Bright Orange Grove of Holland.

The great thing for this city is that these two sides are both colorful and festive. Both with their own traditions and football following culture all of their own.

I am actually going to be quite neutral for this one. The football should be played at a high and exciting level of course. Attacking and fast paced football you are bound to see on Sunday. I hope you all enjoy the match. I will be leaving the country for a week and thus will not be able to continue writing about Football following Sundays match. I do however hope to squeeze in a last report on Sunday evening following the game. Hopefully I'll catch some footage of Celebrations and post them as soon as I get back.

Have an Exciting Final, I hope you've enjoyed the World Cup from an England Super Fan Perspective. I plan on writing some reviews of the food and ambiance of the various places I visited during the World Cup, so stay tuned in the weeks ahead. Until then Keep on Watching FOOTY where ever and whenever you can!
